Organization, part two

This is the "Clean Sweep" staging area for sorting stuff, it's not bad, it's in the garage and is a good way to lay everything out to actually see what's cluttering things up. I'm still trying to figure out a storage solution for the various bags I have, but that'll come. And I'm still trying to determine if I'll make baskets again, or if I should find a new home for the reeds. (So far I'm coming down on the side of yes, I will make baskets again)

And another picture of the staging area.

More will come as more is done.

Fear me, I'm violating a law of thermodynamics by reducing disorder! Woot!

You're not reducing disorder, merely off-loading it onto others. But at least I know who to blame for the mess in my house :D

I wish the work O just did in our kitchen, and which I just did in my studio, looked anywhere near as impressive. :)

If you want to use the reed AND go through it at a clip, you could do a basket class at one of your forays this summer...

Not a bad thought re: teaching the class, however that'd be a class where I'd prefer to have *some* medieval research, and I have absolutely none for basketweaving. (I'm sure they did it, I just know nothing about it)

And as I offered to the magnificent Hugh, if you want, I'm trying to be better about being on instant messaging, and here are the ones I use...dorr_8 at MSN.com (for MSN IM) and beard5helgarth for YIM, finally BeardHelgarth for AIM)

"Magnificent"? Careful. I just made me a nice Tudor cap and I'm working on a hatband for my poofy fencer's hat. I don't want to have to do all that work again just cos I need a bigger hat!

After the praises you and Robert were both whispering in my ear yesterday, you are SO not one to complain when it rightly makes its way back in your direction! ;)

Oh no - I barely manage to keep up with LJ as it is. Feeling like I was leaving someone hanging mid-stream when I'm dealing with my kids would make me completely neurotic. Thanks though! :)

You get rid of the reeds, you are going to really want them for something in a year or two's time.

*it's a rule*

I was thinking that. My other thought was to just weave up a batch and use the supply up. They make decent gifts :)
